Randall C. Farmer

Randy Farmer is an attorney at PKKN with more than 20 years of experience in advising school districts on a wide variety legal issue throughout Georgia.

Mr. Farmer has successfully handled legal issues facing school districts, including employment claims, student issues, administrative hearings, contract disputes, and lawsuits arising under the Georgia Open Records/Meetings Act. He also regularly provides legal advice to school districts on employment matters, procurement matters, risk management issues, personal injury claims, FERPA confidentiality issues, and student issues.

Randy also worked as a high school teacher and department chair in Georgia. Randy’s volunteer activities have included being Chair of the School and College law section of the Georgia Bar Association.

He received his J.D. from the University of Georgia, School of Law, his Master’s in Education from Harvard University and his B.A., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is admitted in the following courts: Georgia, Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Randy, his wife and three children reside in Cobb County.
